How to use the Anchored VWAP Channel Indicator for MT4?
As a rule of thumb, look for long trades when price moves above the channel and short trades when price dips below it.
Starting point explained
The starting point is marked by a blue target icon on the chart. Drag it left or right to set where the calculation begins.
The channel and its signals will automatically recalculate based on the new starting point.
The following screen shows zoomed starting candle and unfolded channel.
Example trade
As you can see on the AUD/USD H1 chart below, the price entered an accumulation phase just above the upper band of the Anchored VWAP Channel indicator.
Then a powerful breakout to the upside took place.
