How to use the Keltner Channel Smooth ATR Indicator for MT5?
The Keltner Channel Smooth ATR Indicator MT5 shades the area above the central MA green and the area below it orange.
The outer bands also change color based on the current signal, making the trend direction easy to spot.
On the USD/CAD H1 chart above, the colors switch as price moves around the centerline.
Wider green or orange zones appear during stronger moves, such as the sharp rally in the middle of the chart.
Narrower, overlapping zones appear during choppier periods.
Long signal
For a long trade, wait for price to move into the green zone above the central MA.
On the Keltner Channel, the upper band should also switch from orange to green, confirming the move. Once both conditions are met, enter the trade.
